General Alcohol Laws:
Law #1: Never over-serve
- The MAX you can serve per customer is:
- [2 beers]
- OR [1 liquor drink]
- If they have one in their hand, you may only serve them one more
Law #2: ID EVERY customer
- No matter how old a customer appears, you must ID everyone who wishes to purchase an alcoholic beverage
- If you have any doubt as to the validity of the ID, you are empowered to say NO
Law #3: Open every alcoholic beverage
- Before handing a customer an alcoholic beverage you must open the can or remove the cap
- Keep any caps and throw them away at the end of your shift
Law #4: Never serve a customer that already seems intoxicated
- If you have any concern as to the inebriation level of the customer, you are empowered to say NO
