What is Pay for SMU Football?
Pay for SMU Football varies by position, but for each position there is either a flat hourly rate or an event base plus a tip minimum that add to become the total paid rate for the event.

Alcohol Staff
You will receive a minimum gross earnings of $100.00 for working this event. This $100.00 minimum consists of a $34.00 event base plus tips. If tip earnings do not meet or exceed $66.00/worker, EATS2SEATS will provide additional compensation to ensure the $100.00 minimum is honored.
$34.00 event base + tips ($66.00 guarantee) = $100.00 minimum gross earnings
Food Staff
You will receive a minimum gross earnings of $140.00 for working this event. This $140.00 minimum consists of a $80.00 event base plus tips. If tip earnings do not meet or exceed $60.00/worker, EATS2SEATS will provide additional compensation to ensure the $140.00 minimum is honored.
$80.00 event base + tips ($60.00 guarantee) = $140.00 minimum gross earnings
Alcohol Stand Leads
You will receive a minimum gross earnings of $150.00 for working this event. This $150.00 minimum consists of a $84.00 event base plus tips. If tip earnings do not meet or exceed $66.00/worker, EATS2SEATS will provide additional compensation to ensure the $150.00 minimum is honored.
$84.00 event base + tips ($66.00 guarantee) = $150.00 minimum gross earnings
Food Stand Leads
You will receive a minimum gross earnings of $180.00 for working this event. This $180.00 minimum consists of a $180.00 event base plus tips. If tip earnings do not meet or exceed $60.00/worker, EATS2SEATS will provide additional compensation to ensure the $180.00 minimum is honored.
$120.00 event base + tips ($60.00 guarantee) = $180.00 minimum gross earnings
Tip Pooling
15% of the tips received at each location staffed by EATS2SEATS workers will be placed into a “global” tip pool. The tip pool will be split equally amongst all tippable EATS2SEATS workers in attendance at the event. Non-tippable workers (Area Leads and Site Leads) are not participants in the tip pool.
85% of the tips received at each location staffed by EATS2SEATS workers will be placed into a “local” tip pool. The tip pool will be split equally amongst all tippable EATS2SEATS workers assigned to that location. Non-tippable workers (Area Leads and Site Leads) are not participants in the tip pool.
